Sitting along the South River just south of Annapolis, Riva is one of Anne Arundel County’s quieter waterfront communities, a place where creek-front lots, mature hardwoods, and a slower pace still retain the character that once defined the whole peninsula. Neighborhoods like Riva Trace, Riverdale, and the shoreline homes along Almshouse Road and Riva Road balance water access with wooded privacy. Homeowners here bought in for the view and the calm, not the noise.
Diamond Decks, the trusted deck builder in Riva, MD, honors that quieter waterfront standard with owner-led craftsmanship and clear communication. We make sure every Riva project earns its place between the water and the woods.
Why Diamond Decks Stands Out
Gambrill’s clay soil, summer humidity, and shaded lots punish cheap builds. Our team addresses regional challenges with a specialized approach:
- Owner on Every Job Site: Bill Zinnert is present on every Riva project, ensuring expert oversight from a leading deck contractor in Riva, MD, from the first cut to the final walkthrough.
- Higher-Grade Materials: #1 grade extreme-rated .23 framing under composite from Fiberon, Trex, Timbertech, Wolf, and Deckorators.
- Two Specialized Crews: A dedicated porch crew and deck crew, with 3D interactive design up front and a 1-week average on-site build time.
- Award-Winning Reputation: Best of the Best winner since 2018, NADRA member, 2,500+ projects across Howard and Anne Arundel Counties.
